Based upon each individual project, the electrical energy needs of the proposed facility or system are obtained, evaluated and researched within the engineering staff. Based upon this research, electrical power distribution systems and electrical lighting systems are designed to provide the best possible solution. Other specialty electrical services, based upon the need for implementation, such as fire alarm, telecommunications, security, intercom, closed-circuit television, amoung other specialty electrical systems can be provided. Design information is then prepared on plans and specifications to communicate clear and accurate information for the construction and implementation of each design. Coordination with other engineering disciplines such as civil and mechanical as well as architectural coordination takes place during the design phase of a project to provide electrical systems and connections consistent with the other facets of a project's implementation.
Services provided by Eidam and Associates also include providing electrical construction cost estimates, shop drawing and submittal review for conformity with the construction documents and specifications, and periodic on-site reviews of the construction to observe the implementation of the design.
